Meet me in Savannah

“A person often meets his destiny
on the road he took to avoid it.”

~ Jean de La Fontaine

theroadI had just left Houston and was headed to New Orleans. It was raining hard and it was very windy so I decided to stop early. I pulled over at one of the Casinos in Lake Charles, Louisiana and stayed in the parking lot next to the truckers.

The House of Blues Concert in Dallas was a “pleasant distraction” compared to the first leg of my journey, but now that was behind me too. It was starting to feel like the first leg of my journey all over again: Lonely. No purpose. Too much time to think. (duh? wasn’t that the idea of this trip anyway?)

I can easily say this now, but I sure didn’t see it then: When I was sitting there alone in that casino parking lot in the howling wind and rain, I was beginning to realize that I had no idea what the hell I was doing. I am just being honest.

Meet me in Savannah – a love story.

A chance meeting on the internet and a few text messages send a couple on an unexpected romantic adventure across the country. It all begins when they meet in Dallas.

Savannah, Chicago, Cancun, Nashville, Jackson Hole.

Paris in the Fall? It only gets better.

Don’t miss this romantic story as it unfolds. The book will be released soon as possible as an e-book on Amazon.com and iTunes.

“I’d learned that some things are best kept secret.”

~ Nicholas Sparks, Dear John
